Kim grew up in the small northwestern Ontario town of Keewatin, nestled between the shores of Lake of the Woods and the Winnipeg River. Surrounded by boreal forest and etched amidst the Canadian Shield, the rugged landscape and creatures it inhabits has inspired in her a life long passion for nature and the outdoors.
